trained and motivated human resource. Our HRD philosophy
encompasses whole area of personnel management and focuses
on the positive aspects of development of manpower qualities.
WESCO being in electricity distribution business ,where
customer service is of paramount importance , identifies,
recognizes and nurtures such qualities on an on-going
basis . HRD policies of the Company have been properly
aligned to achieve organisational goal and to motivate
empowered employees to respond to the emerging challenges
and opportunities of a competitive environment.
Training and Development
........WESCO
strongly believes that success of any business depends
on its human resource . Therefore, our company attaches
utmost priority to human resource development with focus
on regular upgrading the knowledge and skill of employees
and equipping them with the necessary expertise to meet
the challenges of change successfully . WESCO has also
adopted training as a major improvement process for
enhancing employees morale and motivation. A Multi Skill
Training Centre equipped with the state of art infrastructure
has been setup at Burla which identifies training needs
for different levels of employees and conducts training
programs in various areas of management and technical
skill development. About 500 Executives and 3000 non-executives
(including multiple participation) have been imparted
training covering 24 well designed subjects.
